About bryan
Bryan Woolbert is a fully independent pianist, vocalist, songwriter, producer and live sound engineer from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Legally blind from birth, Woolbert relies on the God-given gifts of perfect pitch and Chromesthesia to understand music. He began classical piano instruction at age seven and later expanded into many other genres, including (but not limited to) jazz, classic pop/rock, country, new age, soundtrack, praise & worship, and more. He took vocal lessons with the legendary vocal coach Sal Dupree while simultaneously studying music production during high school. He graduated as the salutatorian of his class and obtained the AVID® Pro Tools | User certification (for Version 12) in 2017.
Woolbert went on to study Worship & Music, including classical and jazz music theory, jazz piano and voice, and more at Cairn University from Fall 2017 - Spring 2019. During the Spring 2018 semester, he was hired as a paid light and sound technician for Cairn's traveling worship band "On the Way" and toured throughout Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and as far as upstate New York. After completing the Spring 2019 semester, he transferred to Rowan University, where he studied the music industry in-depth from both business and production angles. Over the course of his Rowan education, he has interviewed with several prominent industry figures and has performed extensive research about the field. Woolbert graduated from Rowan with a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry: Technology in May of 2022. In November of 2022, Woolbert obtained the AVID® Pro Tools | Operator of Music certification (for Version 2021) after studying remotely through Itec Audio Studios.
To date, Woolbert has composed nearly 50 songs in various genres and has developed a considerable following while performing on the Ocean City, New Jersey boardwalk and at other venues across the state of New Jersey. He has also built a home studio equipped with Pro Tools | Ultimate hardware and software, a fully smart-controlled ecosystem using Apple HomeKit devices, and more. Today, Woolbert continues to compose, perform, and produce music while searching for a team of people to bring his grand vision to change the music industry from dream to reality.
